VCU is a place where first-gens fly.

How do you know if you’re a first-generation student? Any student who had neither parents nor guardians complete a four-year degree is a “first-gen.” Even if you have siblings who are in college or who got a degree, you’re part of the same generation, so you’re all first-generation.
